So a friend of mine (my old boss) called and said a new employee is wanting some advice on buying a personal residence. He ask if I could call him and give him some pointers. I called him and got a little info about the home and offered to run some comparable sales on it to ensure he is getting a good deal. What we discovered is that the home he was about to buy, which he thought was a "good deal" was was over priced. Granted it was an "owner finance" deal. Years would have to pass for this home to appraised for the contracted value. REI Autocomp to the rescue!
